Completed Projects

JK (President Juscelino Kubitscheck) Bridge in Brasilia

Perhaps MD-Concept Brazil’s most famous project is the construction of the award-winning Third Bridge, known as the JK (President Juscelino Kubitscheck) Bridge in Brasilia – quoted
as being ‘the most amazing bridge in Brazil’. Inaugurated on December, 15, 2002, this bridge immediately became one of Brazil’s favourite landmarks, especially at night. The Gustav Lindenthal Medal was awarded to this project at the 2003 International Bridge Conference in Pittsburgh. This medal is awarded “for a single, recent outstanding achievement showing harmony with the environment, aesthetic merit and successful community participation”.

Pinto Martins International Airport, Fortaleza

The airport was constructed by MD-Concept Brazil in 1997, is totally air-conditioned and has four levels including parking for over 1,000 cars, shops, a food court, a beer garden with anoramic viewing area together with domestic and international boarding lounges. In 2007, Pinto Martins International Airport served almost 4 million passengers and over 45,000 flights, making it the 10th busiest airport in Brazil.

The Marina Park Hotel, Fortaleza

Located just 15km from the Pinto Martins Airport, the Marina Park Hotel offers 5* luxury in tropical surroundings on Iracema beach in Fortaleza. The hotel has 26,000sqm of constructed
area generously distributed on a plot of 40,000sqm and was completed in 2004. The Miami Loft Resort, Fortaleza MD-Concept Brazil completed construction of this luxury development in 2007. Just 30 minutes from Fortaleza city, the Miami Loft has 31 apartments with great sea views from each apartment. There is a range of apartment designs including luxurious penthouse residences with private Jacuzzis. On-site amenities include a luxury spa, pool areas, gymnasium, sauna, massage services and a yoga room.

HBM was founded to supervise, and select building companies, management of real estate services, administer and distribute funds and supervision of services ordered by the convention of owners of The Coral Lake & Beach resort. Freitas Construction was established to focus on residential, industrial and commercial project works. Bridging the gap between traditional construction methodology and innovative technology on site, with the insite and experience that comes with over 15 years in the trade. Freitas are currently excavating and developing the road infrastructure at The Coral Lake and Beach Resort with completion due end 2009/beginning 2010.

Info-Ambientale is a government recognized department that inspects and surveys development sites in North East Brazil to ascertain that effects and consequences of various projects. With an authorized SEMACE report - which needs to be updated on an annual basis - NO building project may start, continue or be completed without this document. The report studies the environmental issues of projects and remains an important partner at The Coral Lake and Beach Resort

Forte Balance are an established company based in Fortaleza that operates as liason and project management of The Coral Lake and Beach Resort. Started in 1998 Forte Balance operates in a variety of fields from agricultural investment, to local real estate, construction and project development.
